Với dạng bài Table Completion thì thông thường sẽ có thể  yêu cầu là “Choose  NO MORE THAN THREE WORDS AND/OR A NUMBER from the passage for each answer”.
Có một số bạn không để ý đến đề bài nên có thể bị mất điểm rất đáng tiếc đấy nhé.

    1.     Margaret mead
    2.     Chris Argyris and Donald Schon
    3.     Claude Levi-Strauss
    4.     Max Weber

    A.     Finding a definition of culture can take a long time.
    B.     Culture is something which is embodied in the way groups behave.
    C.     Cultures are often affected by their more powerful neighbors.
    D.    The reasons people give for their behavior are often different from why it originally developed.
    E.      Societies create networks of meaning within which their members live.
    F.      Culture is practically impossible to define.
    G.    Culture is something which arises a group’s beliefs.
    TEXT
Anthropologists have proposed over one hundred different definitions. A number of these are variations on the idea that culture consists of ‘shared patterns of behaviors’ as may be observed by the researcher. This is the definition put forward by Margaret Mead, for example, in her study of indigenous ritual in Samoa. This kind of definition, however, does not take account of the fact that studying culture is not just a question of observation. It also involves studying the meaning of this observed behavior.
Accordingly, other anthropologists, such as Max Weber, speak of culture as consisting of systems of shared meaning; as he puts it, ‘man is an animal suspended in webs of significance he himself has spun.’ Similarly, Claude Levi-Strauss also speaks of culture as a product of the implicit beliefs which underlie it. The problem with this approach is that the meaning of cultural behavior is not always easy to establish. Explanations may be offered up to a point, but the underlying assumptions often remain obscure. Indeed, they are often not understood by insiders. As Chris Argyris and Donald Schon point out, what people say to explain their cultural behavior and what really drives this behavior are often widely different. The search for meaning can therefore be a long and painstaking process, involving long periods of observation and interviews in order to build possible theories.

Câu hỏi IELTS Speaking part 3 dạng Comparing – So sánh.
    • So sánh về thời gian
Are houses nowadays, the same as houses 30 years ago in your country?
    • So sánh về nhóm xã hội
Do men and women like the same types of books?
Do old and young people like the same holidays?
    • So sánh về địa lý
Are houses in North Vietnam the same as houses in South Vietnam?
    ielts speaking part 3 compare

Hãy xem xét ví dụ sau:
Examiner: Do men and women like the same hobbies?
Candidate: I think men and women like different hobbies, for example men are fond of many types of sporting activities such as football and basketball. Also they prefer things like watching action movies and going to bars, but women like hobbies such as shopping, watching TV, singing KTV and chatting online.
Candidate: Well obviously there are a number of clear differences. However, I guess that the most significant would be that men tend to prefer sporting activities such as football or basketball. Whereas in contrast women prefer things like shopping for clothes. In addition to this, another possible distinction might be that men usually like watching films: while on the other hand, women are more likely to prefer watching soap operas on TV.
Câu có các cấu trúc so sánh: whereas, in contrast, while on the other hand.
Template bắt đầu với một linking phrase:
    • Well obviously…
    • Well undoubtedly…
    • Well clearly…
    • Well unmistakably…
    • Sure, without a doubt…
    • Unquestionably…
Có một số sự khác biệt:
    • There are a number of underlying differences here.
    • There are a variety of possible differences here.
    • There are a range of potential distinctions here.
    Điều đầu tiên là:
    • However, I guess that the most significant would be that…
    • Though I suppose that the most obvious would be that…
    • But I would say the most fundamental would be that…
Phát triển ý trên, ví dụ “…men tend to prefer…” với những từ đơn giản: especially, particularly, in fact, such as, for example, specifically.
Cấu trúc so sánh đầu tiên:
    • Whereas on the other hand…
    • On the contrary…
    • Though quite the opposite…
Tiếp tục phát triển ý trên.
Giờ thì là khác biệt thứ hai:
    • In addition…
    • On top of this…
    • Additionally…
    • Moreover…
    • As well as this…
    • After that…
Còn một khác biệt quan trọng khác:
    • …a second key distinction would be that…
    • …a subsequent contrast could be that…
    • …a further distinction might be that…
Tiếp tục xây dựng câu trả lời như ý đầu:
    • While on the other hand…
    • Conversely…
    • Alternatively…
    • Then again, in opposition…
